The first time I came here was 10 yrs ago for a company party. I just revisited after their remodel for a small private party with only 10 other guests and it felt like coming back home.
The vibe was chill and right off the bat and Joey himself, greeted each guest and chatted about the space. We were even lucky enough to score a quick skee-ball lesson from the legend himself.
As if the games weren’t enough, the small kitchen was turning out some of the best kept secret tacos that we kept going back for more.
It’s places like this that remind me why I love San Francisco so much. Already planning our next visit back.
Had our team holiday party here and it was incredible! A very great experience for team bonding and light and friendly competition. The owner is super friendly and makes it a great experience with his electric personality! I highly recommend coming here!
The arcade was an awesome venue for our company holiday party! We had a great time, the space was good size for everyone to enjoy comfortably, with plenty of games (and the photobooth!) to keep everyone entertained -- and competitive, haha. The bar also stood out -- menu was interesting and fun, drinks were great. The team there was super helpful, making sure we all had what we needed so we could just focus on having a good time. Looking forward to going back!
We had an 8 year old's birthday party here and it was the highlight of the school year for kids and grown ups. It was so easy - we really just showed up because Joey and Jane had taken care of everything. Several of the parents who were there booked it for parties as well because it was the perfect set up. We just went back a second time and it's the gift that keeps on giving for kids. I really like that the games there are tactile and physical, and not just screen based. I'd recommend it for anyone looking for a memorable venue for a birthday or corporate event.
This is a really cool place to hold your private event! Our team recently had a happy hour at Joey the Cat’s Arcade and everyone had a blast! Some overheard comments:
1. “This is a really great venue!”
2. “The drinks are really good!”
3. “It’s so clean!”
Joey and his team were really passionate about Skeeball and were super helpful coordinating our event. They were very responsive through email and their online pricing estimator was 100% accurate. Besides skeeball, there are other arcade games such as pac man, claw machines, air hockey and whack a mole - something for everyone. I think it might be a little pricey but with a large enough group, the price per person isn’t too bad. If it’s in your budget, definitely hold your event here!
