We came on a really warm day so appreciated the free water they offer.
There is dirt road that has some slight bumps so if you have a low car, might want to drive another vehicle.
Overall friendly place. We showed up around 10am, used those paintball tickets we bought at the county fair, and things were smooth...$41 for rental equipment and 500 paintballs, which lasted a few games before we had to buy more. There are 3 fields total so they were able to keep games going for both self equipped and rental players, and pretty clear announcements on when games were starting.
There was a good sized shaded area to setup and rest, and a good sized parking lot so it wasn't an issue.
And, the Porta potties were clean and smelled nice with the hand washing stations actually having water!
Overall would recommend this place for paintballing, at least for beginners.
My first time playing at this spot. Had a blast. They have multiple fields to play on. Well maintained facilities. Great rental area. Friendly and helpful staff. We played all day on a Saturday as walk one and enjoyed a great day with friends and made some new ones as well. Love it!!
Great fields! They have added an airball field for advanced speedball players. A great venue for birthday parties, corporate team building, and even bachelor/bachelorette parties. A family owned and operated business with 3 open fields. All levels of competition are accepted & rental gear are readily available. Many friendly referees as well as players provide helpful hints & tips on how to play. A great socially distant way to have some fun!
We celebrated our son's 15th birthday at Sunol Paintball and it was an absolute blast for him and his friends. It was the first time he and his sister were at opposite teams and they had a lot of fun chasing each other around the obstacles. It was raining when we arrived and it was even more fun. The kids got drenched but they all brought extra clothing to change into once they were done. The instructors were friendly and the service was superb. I'm pretty sure we will be heading back there for another birthday celebration. Thank you Sunol Paintball.
Only had 4 tournament players at feild , I had new gear , and wanted to play with the big groups , they had none , paint was gi standard garbage!! Breaks in the newer guns and they don't buy enough high grade paint,always out from what clerk said, 🤢 they can't get tanks over 3k psi , and only 3 fields, over all I won't come back but a word of advice vice to owner I woulda pay the extra to get the pumping station to actually fill a 4500 tank , and buy tournament paint more then 20 cases and buy a air ball feild or urban and mow your feild
