2 months agoMy friends and I (group of 4) had a blast! I especially loved the jump room while my friend liked Hide. There were 4 games there and the 20 mins package was def not enough to play everything. I will be going back for the 50 mins package next time. The staffs were nice and were patient in answering our questions as well thank you!

2 months agoFun new multi-room place to go with friends. You have the option to purchase 20 mins, 40 mins or 60 mins. Since I was in a larger party we choose to do 40 mins and it was the perfect amount of time. There are 4 different rooms: Throw, hide, laser & jump. Overall fun rooms I just wish the system had a better way of changing modes during the game or going back after clicking an option instead of having the timer run out.

a month agoFor what this place is and the time given, it is NOT worth the money you spend! Would not recommend. Here's my honest review for their costumer service. Came here for my birthday near the beginning of the month. First of all my husband booked half a month in advance for our group of 7, and day of they tried to cancel our booking due to "an event" that we later found out was a large children's party that they'd obviously make more money from. We then had to share the venue with said birthday party. On their website it specifies that it is FREE for the person's birthday. It doesn't say that it has to be the DAY of their birthday. My birthday was on a TUESDAY and we arrived the Saturday before my actual birthday. Because who the heck can attend in the middle of the week on a work day. When paying we said we had a group of 7, but 1 is free for a birthday. The guy asked to see my ID and basically laughed saying wait, it's not your birthday. .. no, it's in 3 days. And we had to pay. So unless your birthday falls on a weekend you're out of luck! My honest review of the facility: Not worth the money. There's 4 rooms, no accomodation for bigger group sizes. (Larger than 4 I'd say) Half of the ball throwing/archery targets didn't work and the room could not accommodate for 7 of us to play the way we had expected/wanted. The hide one, we spent more time trying to figure out how to do and still could barely figure out. It seemed impossible with all 7 of us working together to try and do it. We asked the guy for help and he just told us we had been doing it wrong, but when showing us did the same thing we'd been doing. We wasted the whole time slot for that game just trying to figure it out. Even if possible, it didn't seem fun. And no one else stayed in that room to play it the whole time we were there. The laser room was okay, just your typical lasers. kind of fun. Once again could not accommodate 7 of us playing together. The jump room, this one was our favourite. We had the most fun in this room, but again 7 players became a challenge. We couldn't find any options for our group size that seemed possible. Over all, the instructions need to be better, maybe have an actual walk through for the rooms. Once you select a game mode, THERE'S NO WAY TO EXIT IT. This really SUCKED. We selected a game option in the archery room and wanted to stop it and choose something else. This was not possible. We wasted that chunk of time too as we didn't want that game mode. This also applied in the other rooms. Once on a game mode, you were stuck on that specific one for the time alloted for it. The website says that 8 players is a good group size, but doesn't provide options for such. Also no free snacks or drinks like it mentions. The New place in Coquitlam (Activate) has been a much better experience, for half the price and more games! (We played for free for their grand opening!) Editing to add a response to their reply Firstly, they did try to cancel/reschedule our booking. They made it seem as though our booking was incorrect or incomplete and asked to book for another day. We had screenshotted our completed booking when we had booked it in December, so we know there was no error. Secondly. Even now their website does not specify that the birthday has to be DAY OF. It simply says the birthday person is free and to bring ID. As for larger groups, the website encourages large group but does not accommodate for them in any way. The purpose of a large group booking is to have the group together. Not split up into random rooms. All advertisements have the group together playing. So that's a let down that you can't actually play together. Though you say you'll be improving things, I (nor my group) will consider visiting again, especially now that "Activate" is open in Coquitlam. A much larger center, with many more (fully functional) rooms, for half of the cost! Much better environment and cost! Highly recommend "Activate"
