High-speed go-kart racing on an exciting indoor track (with catering options) at K1 Speed

First time and planning to go back had so much fun eve though the race last 10 minutes is worth it, might take some time the wait list, you can have snack, drink or just sit in the couch for you turn.

My 7-year-old had been waiting forever to go go-karting at K1 Speed, but he was always just a bit too short. He finally hit the 48-inch mark, and we were so excited to check it out. This was the second K1 location I've visited, and the customer service was absolutely top-notch. My older son was feeling a little nervous about racing other kids. The staff noticed and went above and beyond, setting up a private session just for him and his brother. They both ended up having an absolute blast! We also grabbed some food, and while they initially got our order wrong, they were incredibly quick to fix it and even threw in a little extra for us. The whole facility was clean and well-maintained, and the operations felt very smooth. We'll definitely be back, and I'm even thinking about signing my kids up for their racing classes. I'm so glad we came here—it made my son's first go-karting experience truly special.

The actual races were fun, but, when we checked in, we were told there would be an hour to an hour and a half wait. We waited the suggested time and saw several parties who came in after us race. We were under the impression that it was going to be a private race (there were five of us) . When we checked in at around 90 minutes, we were told that there were four to six races still ahead of us and it would be 45 minutes. We were nonplussed so went to see about getting a refund, only for the employee to click a few buttons and say we'd be on in ten minutes. We were, but with other racers. There was no safety briefing or any instructions on how to operate the karts, just a rush to select a helmet and get in the carts. The first race started off slow because one racer had an incident and had to be removed. The races were overall fun but there were also more than a few collisions. Instructions about passing would also be helpful. If I do come again, I'd make a reservation in advance, but the long wait and lack of instruction detracted from the overall experience.

Went for the first time, with my 8yr old son. He raced juniors while I raced adults, but the crew was great at alternating races, so it never felt like either of us were waiting. We each did 3 races and my body was sore but will def be returning

This is undoubtedly fun. The circuit and the kart are better than I thought initially. When the karts are completely unlocked, they go fast and are very fun. But... many times the race was stopped or slowed down because of someone bumping into the guard rail or spinning. It is a bit annoying having people that don't know at all how to drive or let pass the fastest one. But I guess this is understandable. Definitely the most annoying part was, at one point, during our second ride, the computer that was keeping the timing and positions glitched and none of the times, laps, or positions were recorded. It is part of the fun seeing how fast you can go and see if you get the best time lap. Besides this glitch, overall it was a fun experience and I will probably go back.
