a month agoWent for Dine Out. Was super loud, I think a conference was in town? The food was good! Loved that they had zero proof cocktails. Especially enjoyed the beet & goat cheese salad, and the sticky toffee pudding.

a month agoI recently had the pleasure of dining at Brass Fish Tavern, and I can’t stop raving about it! We kicked things off with Dicky’s Dumps handmade dumplings, and let me tell you, they were a delicious start to our meal—perfectly crafted and bursting with flavor. For the main course, I enjoyed the grilled avocado and crispy tofu, which was nothing short of amazing. The combination of textures and flavors was just spot on! And then came dessert, we indulged in salted pretzel toffee pudding and Vietnamese coffee tiramisu. Both were heavenly, but that tiramisu had a special twist that I just adored! The staff were super friendly, making us feel right at home, and the ambiance of the restaurant was just lovely—perfect for a special gathering. If you’re looking for a great dining experience, I can’t recommend Brass Fish Tavern enough!

a month agoShort rib dip was delicious, super tender meat with lots of arugula. Would order again but with a side salad instead of fries. The peppercorn jus was a little too mild but still good for the bread. A little chilly inside but it was not busy on the day I went so less people to warm the place up

7 months agoI booked a dinner reservation for my family, not realizing it was a brasserie. Thankfully, when I requested a booth—knowing the high tables and chairs wouldn’t be suitable for the kids—they easily accommodated us. Although there isn’t a dedicated kids' menu, there are plenty of dishes that work well for children. Surprisingly, we were among the few guests actually ordering food, which was unexpected given how delicious everything was! The ribeye steak was so delicious. The atmosphere is modern and draws a trendy crowd. Our server, Danielle, was both friendly and efficient, making the experience even more enjoyable.

2 months agoWent here with coworkers for lunch. We were six people so we sat at a "high table" which was fine. The weirdness is that there was a fake tree in the middle of the table. If you're talking to someone across from you, your view of them would be obstructed by the tree. The food that I got, The Classic Burger, wasn't worth the price if I'm being honest. It's a generic burger with a patty almost as thin as a smash burger. It also had a lot of shredded lettuce -- some might say too much. Lastly, the fries looked, felt and tasted like frozen fries. Overall the whole thing was disappointing. Maybe I just got the worst item on the menu; but for a $20+ burger, it better be an above average burger.
