Beach Party (Indoor Beach)

First time visit today for team building event. Bare foot in sand feels quite cold. They gave instructions on how to use the bow and arrows. It needs quite a bit of strength to pull the arrows. Interesting game. Most of us sweat quite a bit and we totally under-estimate the activity level. Suggested to bring change clothes as we sweat all the way through. Quite fun!

My child did a week of the spring break camp at 6Pack. He had such a great time and we especially appreciated the volleyball coaching he received in the mornings. It’s quite difficult to find beach volleyball for boys his age so for him to get this coaching was amazing. He also really enjoyed the food provided. This camp is great value, especially if you book a whole week in advance at 20% off

played indoor beach volleyball here for the first time this weekend. Quick and simple to book via catch corner at approx. $60/hr. Overall facility was clean and we had a lot of fun. Minor issue was that there were a few sand toys that had some pointy edges buried in the sand that we ended up stepping on during our games. Would have been nice to have a rake so we could even out the sand.

Have played at 6Pack Indoor Beach on and off over the years. It’s located in an industrial area close to Badminton Vancouver. There’s a cafe (Court 6 Cafe), feet washing station and two showers. The best was when they had a fun weekday drop-in/ladies night but that no longer exists. It’s fully booked for league nights (with three sessions). Couple tidbits: - 5 indoor beach courts open year round - Plenty of volleyball league options (2’s and 4’s). Not cheap ($25.00/session to play) - Expensive court rentals ($134.24/hr) unless booked last minute/odd times ($59.41/hr) The only indoor place to play beach volleyball but be prepared to pay for it.

However I felt the cost was too expensive for what was offered. Paying extra for the birthday party co-ordinator was a COMPLETE WASTE of money. Perhaps the co-ordinator that was assigned to our party was not experienced with kids as she lacked enthusiasm and energy for a kids party. So I decided to take the lead and arrange the games / activities for the kids. We found a large rusty old safety pin in the sand area that we were assigned to. Luckily this old rusty pin did not injure my daughter or her friends. This is something that everyone needs to be aware of when using the facilities at 6 pack indoor beach.
