We went with a team of 7 and played the Roosevelt room. It is a very fun and challenging room. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The hosts were very welcoming and explained us all the rules nicely. They give sufficient hints to allow us to make continuous progress. I highly recommend this for team building purposes. Finding the entrance to palace games can be challenging for first timers. It is on the outer Circle, near the parking space.
Absolutely amazing escape room experience. We did the Attraction room and it took a little over two hours. They say there is a two hour limit, but they really do give you longer. The Attraction was an excellent room with a lot of really interesting puzzles and several rooms. A lot more high tech than I expected an escape room to be! We really enjoyed it. Just an FYI, everyone for the Attraction has to be 13+ and you can only have kids under 16 if there are more adults than kids under 16. Plenty of parking although leave extra time to actually find the lot as we had to drive around quite a bit to get to the entrance. Great staff as well. I can see why this place is rated one of the best in the country. Can't wait to come back and try other rooms.
From an artist point of view I must say I felt like I was playing a game in an art installation. The experience was visually delightful, fun, and as mentally challenging as it should be. I was with my husband, daughter, her husband and their son, my grandson, who had been to and solved escape rooms before. Every time we solved one part another incredible surprise appeared for us to step into. It felt like we were somewhere else completely. We solved the puzzle within the two hour time limit with just over a minute to spare. The most challenging part for us was to work together instead of compete. Which was also the message of the game. I am so impressed by the thoughtfulness and artistic talents that went into the creation of this magical and surreal experience.
Did the Roosevelt room. Hands down best escape room of my life! Has regional SF history built in and quality is exceptional.
The hints system is just seamless if you are not keeping up with the pace I think.
Extremely creative and very clever. The puzzles were basic but very thoughtful in their conception. Our Edison room had very original and distinctive and unique puzzles. Unlike other escape rooms, there wasn’t much of the carry over of clues that you see with other rooms
