This place is super fun and a great workout! Colton who sets you up, is very kind and patient and really goes over the key points and safety requirements of the game. Make sure you where comfortable, cool clothing and closed toed shoes to come play. It did get a little warm. The 75 minutes goes by suuuuper fast. It was our first time and very fun. Lots of different types of beers and drinks. We didn't eat here, but when we came in, Colton was serving some really yummy looking nachos. They also play great music and have nice clean bathrooms. The other worker girl was real nice too, but didn't catch her name.
if you're looking for a fun activity to do with friends or go on a date then id highly recommend limitless axes and ales! i really appreciate their thoughtful service and personable orientation - which has helped my group and i feel prepared as we take on the various types of targets (candy crush-like, zombies, regular target, black jack style, and more!)
not only were the options fun to play around but so were the food and drink options! i ended up ordering a hot dog and root beer float. the hot dog itself was pretty good esp if you're a fan of pretzel-based bun - and the root beer float brought back so many nostalgic fun memories!
tips:
- separate gendered restrooms
- lots of "courts" available for various size parties
- you'll have a server by your area (ours was jenny and they were really attentive and approachable)
- lots of food and drink options - you can keep a tab open or close the tab
- lots of parking available
- make sure to wear close toes shoes
- certain hrs include certain events (glow in the dark and etc)
Our team booked a reservation for this place online for a team building activity. We booked over a month in advance and paid for the event. We received email confirmation for our booked time slot.
We had team members drive in from all parts of the Bay Area to be at the event, some traveling over an hour to be there.
When we arrived, the doors were shut and locked. We waited an hour in front of the location, and nobody ever showed up. We called the number on the email confirmation, and nobody picked up. It was pre-recorded and said they do not open until 4:30. If that is the case, their website shouldn't be taking bookings for outside those hours.
I would not recommend booking with this place. Very unprofessional.
The staff at Axes and Ales were great! They helped me with the many changes that happened during planning our event and the day of. Their customer service was great even thought they were really busy. Thank you for making our daughter’s event memorable, everyone had a great time.
I took my entire team of 12 people for a teambuilding event to throw some axes! In the middle of it, I looked up and everybody in the group was smiling. Which is all I was really looking for. We had a great time, a lot of laughs. The staff is super cool and accommodating, highly recommend.
