Returning Customer:
I always have an amazing experience at this rage room, and a huge part of that is thanks to the young Black entrepreneur who owns and runs it. From the moment you walk in, he greets you with genuine kindness and a welcoming energy that immediately sets the vibe. You can tell he’s passionate about what he does, and he puts real effort into making sure every guest feels comfortable, informed, and ready to have a great time.
One thing that truly stands out is how flexible and considerate he is. Depending on how busy the place is, he has let us stay a little past our scheduled appointment time, which we always appreciated. He’s also surprised us with extra items to smash, adding even more excitement to the experience without us even asking. It’s rare to see that level of generosity and customer care, and it really makes the whole visit feel personal rather than transactional.
Communication with him is also incredibly easy. Whether we had questions before booking, needed help during the session, or wanted clarification about something afterward, he was quick to respond and always handled everything with professionalism and friendliness. It makes the entire process—from scheduling to smashing—feel smooth, straightforward, and stress-free.
I also love that he clearly posts rules and expectations, because once you read and follow them, everything else flows perfectly. His guidelines are there to keep everyone safe, protect the space, and make sure each guest gets the best possible experience. As long as you take a moment to read them, you’ll have nothing but fun. Overall, I highly recommend this rage room. The atmosphere, the service, and the owner himself make it truly worth every visit.
Looking for a unique way to blow off steam? This rage room in Oakland is the ultimate stress reliever! My friend and I tried the King and Queen Smash package, and it was an absolute blast - literally! For 45 minutes, we got to smash electronics, glass bottles, and more while jamming out to our favorite music. It's cathartic, energizing, and surprisingly fun.
The offer a variety of packages including smash sessions, splatter paint experiences, and even axe throwing.
The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Upon arrival, we signed a waiver and were geared up with protective equipment - gloves, hard hats, and goggles. You get to choose your weapon of destruction: baseball bats, golf clubs, crowbars, bell mace, sledgehammers...it's like being in your own action movie.
Closed-toe shoes are mandatory. Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Things get messy - it's the best way!
The 45-minutes fly by, so make every swing count. Choose your basher and go wild!
Be sure to read the policy prior to booking to avoid surprises!
Whether you're looking to de-stress or just try something totally different, this place delivers!

11/23/25: I'm now receiving emails threatening a lawsuit if I don't remove this review.
11/16/25: To address the business owner's comments: we used one session of the double booking and attempted to dispute only half of the total charge (covering only the erroneous double booking), so I'm not sure how that could qualify as fraud. The owner claims not to keep any personal information, but the credit card dispute case includes photos the owner took of my driver's license and credit card, so that is clearly a lie.
Guiltily, I do admit that my Yelp reviews are primarily negative. Like many, I'm only inclined to post when I have a particularly bad experience with a business (like this one) and I take the positive ones for granted. I've never tried to file a credit card dispute before this.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE - GO ELSEWHERE
We booked a session online, but the company double charged us. I immediately and politely contacted them to fix the error but we were told that they have a "no refunds" policy, no matter whether the error was theirs or ours. I very carefully explained how their system messed up but they only ignored my emails.
The booking process was pretty infuriating, but we had paid our money so we showed up anyway. They have no parking, so it took a while to find somewhere safe in this neighborhood to leave a car.
The items we were provided to smash were pretty lackluster and not satisfying at all to smash. We paid (twice!) to have several "premium" electronics items like TVs or similar, but we were given only a metal printer tray (not even the whole printer, just a metal tray that was near impossible to smash apart), a guitar amplifier (basically just a wooden box, similarly difficult), and a small set of computer speakers. They also advertised that they had sledgehammers as smashing tools, but they only had some golf clubs, baseball bats, and some janky metal pipes.
Try the one in San Jose instead of this smash room. You'll likely get better items to smash and won't get double charged.
Smash kingdom was great! I have gone here once before and was eager to get back to smash some things up. Staff is very professional, there was a line out of the door, and it was clear they were a popular spot for a Saturday night. Can't wait to go back.
Without question, an amazing spot. Not just to blow off steam but to have a great time with friends. It’s impressive how cathartic breaking apart electronics and bottles with a baseball bat is - even if you don’t think you need it, it lets out stuff you didn’t know you needed! Absolutely will be back!
