It was our first time throwing. It was fun, and it was a good workout. The lanes were roomy, good music, great staff. We will definitely return with our friends!
This place is fantastic! I had No idea something like this even existed. Once I found out I had to go. I’m so glad that I did. It was a blast. Not only can you throw axes. But you can also throw knives. At points I was throwing a knife with my right hand and an axe with my left. Or vice versa. Sometimes I threw with both arms at the same time. Look I’m no pro. This was my first time doing this. What’s great is that they also teach you how to throw the knives and axes. Plus they have great music and the staff is also great. Very helpful. If you’ve never done this before you have to at least try it. I told one of my friends and he literally said, “wait, what? WHERE? We’re going again soon.
Really enjoyed the space. I liked how there were different sizes and options of axes to throw. The glow in the dark feature and 80s music playing was fun! I wish you could have a beer while playing. I went to place in DC that had that option. The vibe was pretty relaxed.
Lots of fun at this place. Only snacks and sodas but they allow you to bring in your own food, no alcohol. If you're a competitive type there's many games similar to darts or just throw to let off some angst. We made a reservation the day before and went on a rainy Sunday afternoon, assuming it would be pretty empty, but every station had people. I think basic price was $30 per person for 40 minutes, there some extras you can add but we didn't and that seemed about the right amount of time. There's only so much to do afterall. If you think it's something you would like, it's perfectly safe and they give you some basic guidance before you start.
This place is in a great location and the atmosphere is really nice. You can bring in outside food and drink and have a little party or just come for date night. They have lots of fun games and ad-ons to make your axe throwing even more fun. The downside- aside from a brief safety talk and throwing demo you are pretty much on your own. I have been to other axe throwing places where they have someone guiding you and coaching you so your throwing gets better. They will do this if you ask them but unless you are asking they will leave you to your own devices.
