Derek was amazing with us since this was our first time ever trying axe throwing. He had us hitting the board in no time and kept checking in to give us more tips. We will definitely be back with friends!
If you are thinking of trying are throwing this is a great place to go! The staff was really nice and very informative. We did a group event for a bachelor party and our trainer set up a tournament where we broke into groups and played against each other. It was so much fun!!
We loved our experience at Bad Axe Throwing. We were a party of 3 and we came here on a Saturday afternoon in July.
There was a wait for around half an hour, presumably because we had walked in, without booking beforehand. The person who checked us in was cordial, and he showed us a few different ways in which one could throw. More importantly, he also provided safety related instructions when it came to axe throwing.
The experience itself was great. We got a lane of two, and after talking to him, we were also able to find one more lane, so that all 3 of us could throw at the same time, without one of us waiting. The experience itself lasts anywhere from 45 mins to an hour, and it’s a fun way to try something new, either with your friends or loved ones, or with colleagues from work.
They’ve restrooms there, and street parking available outside as well. I’ll be back here again sometime.
This was my first time visiting Bad Axe Throwing and I sure liked it. The only gripe I had with this location was that it was not clean and organized. Wood chips were spread all over and the place looked generally unkempt.
Otherwise, I enjoyed my time here. We got the dedicated package as we had many first timers with us. The instructor (sorry I forgot the name) was friendly and showed us a lot of trick shots. I will definitely come back again.
Tried Bad Axe Throwing with my colleagues and we loved our experience! We started off with a short tutorial from the staff, followed by practice rounds and then competition games which ignited our competitive sides! All in all a fun activity :)
