Tipsy Putt is an indoor mini golf, bar and restaurant brand with four California locations: Sacramento, Emeryville, South Lake Tahoe and Monterey. Built for group hangs, every venue hosts birthday parties, leagues and corporate events.
With corporate events running across all four venues, keeping outreach consistent was the challenge.
Before working with Event Captain, the Tipsy Putt team was running outreach themselves. Finding and engaging cold leads meant spending hours inside tools like Instantly AI and ZoomInfo.
The work mattered, but it was hard to use those platforms to their full potential while juggling everything else. Outreach kept competing with day-to-day responsibilities, and consistency suffered.
“We were spending a lot of time using platforms such as Instantly AI or Zoominfo to find and engage cold leads on our own. It was important work, but difficult to utilize the platforms to their full potential, or manage consistently alongside other responsibilities.”

Event Captain took over the outreach engine for Tipsy Putt Brands, covering both cold lead outreach and year-over-year follow-up with previous definite and lost events.
That follow-up piece mattered. Past guests who had already booked, or almost booked, were sitting in the database with no systematic re-engagement. Event Captain put a consistent process around both new prospecting and past-event follow-up.
The team no longer had to choose between running the venues and running outreach. Event Captain handled the prospecting while Anna's team focused on active clients and closing business.

The combination worked. Cold outreach brought in new conversations, and follow-up with previous events brought back guests who already knew the brand.
“We've seen measurable returns from both, while also freeing up our team to focus more on active clients and closing business.”
Anna Jones, VP of Sales and Catering at Tipsy Putt BrandsConsistency was the real win. Outreach that used to fall through the cracks now runs every week, across all four locations.
“They've helped us stay consistent with outreach that can easily fall through the cracks, and we've seen real business come from it. It's been a valuable way to extend our sales efforts without adding more manual work to the team.”
